Todd W. Keener, P.E., LEED® AP BD+C
Principal Engineer
Todd Keener has two years of specialization in industrial machine development and 27 years of experience in the MEP consulting industry. Mr. Keener achieved registration as a professional engineer in 2001 and has since performed MEP design and project management of building systems for numerous diverse projects.
Mr. Keener’s MEP design experience includes extensive exposure to multiple types of HVAC and plumbing systems, including chiller plants, boiler plants, refrigeration systems, hydronic systems, energy recovery systems, VAV air systems, single zone air systems, VRF systems, air distribution systems, fume exhaust, sanitary and grease waste systems, domestic water systems, natural gas and LP gas piping distribution systems.
Mr. Keener also is experienced in managing electrical lighting and power systems designs.
In addition to MEP design, Mr. Keener is well versed performing due diligence studies, energy audits, building energy modeling and overall energy project design, including all associated reports and documentation.
As an accredited LEED professional, Mr. Keener has been involved in the delivery of multiple LEED Gold and Silver certified Projects.

Broc J. Thiele, CPD

Office Manager
Broc Thiele has specialized in plumbing design within the MEP consulting industry since 2009. He earned his Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) credential in June 2017 and has been a valued member of Keener Engineering Services, LLC (KES) since 2015.
Broc's expertise encompasses the design of sanitary and grease waste systems, domestic water systems, natural gas and LP gas distribution systems, medical gas and vacuum systems, waterless plumbing systems, industrial truck wash systems, and tankless water heating systems. His comprehensive technical knowledge enables him to develop efficient, reliable, and code-compliant plumbing solutions for a wide range of project types.
Throughout his career, Broc has contributed to the successful design of projects across numerous market sectors, including commercial office buildings, restaurants and entertainment venues, state, municipal, and government facilities, healthcare facilities, hotels, laboratories, places of worship, industrial facilities, and K–12 educational institutions. His broad project experience and commitment to quality make him a trusted resource for clients and project teams alike.

Eston Epton, E.I.T.
Electrical Designer
Eston Epton joined Keener Engineering Services, LLC (KES) in 2022 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University. A lifelong resident of Fredericksburg, Texas, Eston has deep roots in the community and takes great pride in collaborating with local architects, contractors, and business owners to support the continued growth and development of his hometown.
Although his academic background is in mechanical engineering, Eston specializes in electrical design at KES. His experience includes the design of power distribution and lighting systems for a diverse range of projects, from industrial and commercial facilities to high-end retail and hospitality spaces requiring sophisticated architectural lighting solutions.
Eston attributes much of his professional growth to the strong relationships he has built with lighting manufacturers' representatives, contractors, architects, and industry partners. He is committed to staying current with emerging technologies in lighting and control systems, enabling him to deliver innovative, efficient, and client-focused design solutions. Eston earned his Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification in 2024 and is currently pursuing licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Power.

Dillon Labonte, E.I.T.
Mechanical Designer
Dillon LaBonte has specialized in mechanical design in the MEP consulting industry with KES since January of 2025. He achieved his Engineer-In-Training certification in December of 2025.
Dillon’s mechanical design experience includes refrigeration systems, energy recovery systems, single-zone air systems, and VRF systems. He has gained diverse design experience with projects involving commercial/office occupancies, restaurants, municipal facilities, medical facilities, hotels, congregational facilities, and residences.
Outside of the office, Dillon and his wife Carly enjoy serving Kerr County through youth development with Young Life. Dillon is also actively pursuing his Master’s in Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Eugene “Yogi” Whitehead

Eugene “Yogi” Whitehead brings more than four decades of experience in electrical design and construction, having worked in the industry since 1978. Prior to transitioning into consulting, he built an extensive career in commercial electrical construction, with expertise spanning commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, K–12 educational institutions, and places of worship. His in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, code compliance, and practical field applications provides valuable insight that enhances the quality and constructability of KES's designs.
Yogi joined Keener Engineering Services, LLC (KES) in January 2025. Since becoming part of the team, he has contributed to the design of county volunteer fire department generator systems, youth event centers, and local church facilities. His extensive field experience and practical approach continue to be valuable assets to both KES and its clients.

Brandie Young
MEP Draftsmen, BIM Manager
Before joining Keener Engineering Services, LLC, Brandie Young spent 16 years teaching and coaching in Fredericksburg Independent School District, where she served primarily as a seventh-grade mathematics teacher at Fredericksburg Middle School. As a lifelong member of the Fredericksburg community, she values the opportunity to continue serving her hometown in a new capacity.
Brandie’s primary responsibilities at KES include the initial setup of projects in both AutoCAD and Revit, coordinating project updates as revised architectural and consultant models are received, and providing electrical drafting support. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail help ensure projects are accurately developed and maintained throughout the design process.
